Born in Chicago, she followed her family to Minneapolis, Missouri, and finally, Colorado.

She has had many adventures in her life including, but not limited to, interviewing Tennessee Williams, being mentored by George R.R. Martin, biking across Iowa three times and sharing an elevator with Sting.

In her free time she oil paints, rides her bike, and hangs out with said family.
